Forwarded SMSes

I truly believe that forwarded SMSes are starting to be a really good indicator of our mood. I remember the time when those Ganguly ones started coming around.. Maggi 2 minute noodles and all that..

Well, here's the most recent that I got..

"An Olympic shooter wins a gold (in only a game) and the government gives him 3 crore and various awards. Another shooter dies, fighting with terrorists (saving our country and our lives) and the government pays him 5 lakhs. Truly great India?!"

The sad thing is that contrary the Ganguly-Maggi jokes, this hits very close to the truth.
